"The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. The simple breakfast for 3.5 euros was ideal to get us going. The only problem was that we stayed on a Monday which meant that there were no restaurants open and we had to drive 5km down the road. We didn’t get to see Simancas. There is some road noise but it did not disturb our sleep.We will probably stay again if we have the same ferry timings."

"The property didn't have any maintenance for a long time. The breakfast was a cup of coffee and 2 toast with butter nothing else You have to call to get in the hotel and i was waiting for 2 hours in order to get responde, the front door is lock with a phone number to call for me this is the worst hotel i ever been "

"We have stayed 4x here and it is very convenient to main road, dog friendly, easy parking. First experience good with tapas/ bar/ dinner. 2nd just had tapas in bar. 3rd - restaurant closed but dinner served in bar, post covid seemed staffing problems, very slow service. Arrived last night after very long drive. No food. Receptionist took pity on us and made a sandwich. It was Epiphany but it’s still a hotel so the basics should be available. Won’t stay again- it’s a beautiful space with great...

"Very convenient stopover - just off the main road south to Madrid. The rooms are very adequate and the cafeteria serves nice snack foods. There is a restaurant which opens at 21.00 hrs which was too late for us. Would happily stay again. If you need some exercise after your arrival - walk to the very well preserved castle nearby."

"The hotel was not clean...our room had used toilet paper..no clean toilet brush..there was fluff and hair blowing around in the corridor...communication with the one man who seemed to be working there was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Your description of the hotel was incorrect...there is no bar!"
