"The brochure was far more glamorous than the actual property. These were miners cabins, small as a caravan, old, well worn, bed pushed up against the wall so not readily accessible (unless you are extremely agile) the air conditioner was emitting a foul odour (Old and musty smell). We decided not to stay and the staff were really fabulous about our decision. I think also that the fact that the breakfast was included but was to be finished by 7am was a tad unfair to travellers although more...

"Mick Dundee would feel at home here. Built circa 1920 and the original hotel or furniture has not changed one bit amazing place Outside restaurant very busy Food excellent Room adequate. Clean with a nice balcony back yard and sea view Onslow is a small place with not much accomodation With a beautiful beach and fabulous sunset Breakfast from 4am ….7am. Do t dilly dally An amazing place. Do not change it Of all the fancy hotels I stayed on in this trip this was by miles the one with original character "
