"We have been in Madagascar 3 weeks and Tropical Paradise Hotel is still our favorite hotel. It is a short tuk tuk ride from town and tuk tuks wait at the road. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable except the bed. The only negative we have is that the mattress was thin and after 5 nights it got pretty uncomfortable. I wish I had asked the staff to change it though, because I bet they would have."

"Petit hotel trés agréable à Nosy Be. Les bungalows sont trés jolis et agréables. Point fort, la piscine, qui est grande et belle, extrêmement agréable aprés une journée de balade dans Nosy Be. La plage n'est pas trés belle (les belles plages sont plutôt sur les autres îles autour de Nosy Be), mais c'est quand même un vrai plus d'avoir un accès direct à la mer et le coucher de soleil sur la mer est magnifique ! "Location of the lodge is real highlight. Right on the shoreline with the sea view on one side, three other sides face greenery of surrounding mangroves with water level changes wih tidal cycles. Rooms face the west providing joy of watching sunsets from private balconies. However, this nature's beauty couldn't translate into a holiday to remember due to reasons of humans making. "This is a small property with maybe ten bungalows. Unfortunately it it quite close to a marshy area so there are mosquitoes. The staff are friendly the restaurant food very good. There is a nice pool and sunbathing area. Walking to and from the property at night is not very well lit. Realistically the things we found negative are not the owners fault, but I thought I should note them. 5 minute walk to a lively area with bars and discos, and the beach."

"Good that it was an apt so u have kitchen but rooms need some updating. Great location on beach. Some English spoken by some staff but mostly like rest of Nosy Be not so if you dont speak french or English will be hard "
