"Staff was friendly and helpful. The taco stand had really good food for a good price. And within walking distance was Herbies (very very good food and good local beer on tap). Sombrero beach is just a Mile away which is a must for swimming and sunbathing. "

"For a 2 star motel, this is an excellent resort. A nice private area with its own beach and small dock, lounging chairs available everywhere. We were shown around immediately at our checkin, it was great to see and the whole arrival process was so smooth. Our room had its own entry and porch, and we could see our car directly from the window. It was a great choice for a night or two, especially since it is a more motel type thing."

"The unit we stayed in was very clean, beds comfy. The unit itself is showing some wear and tear but that did NOT affect the cleanliness. The view of the ocean was why i chose to stay here and was not disappointed. The patios of each unit are fairly close and do not lend alot of privacy--not genetally a problem, unless the neighbors decide to get affectionate (if you know what I mean 😀) The pool was clean and offered plenty of seating. I would definitely stay here again."

We learned that a Topsider is kind of like a treehouse with its main support in the middle underneath which puts you 9-10ft up off the ground.
