"The friendliness of the staff is so and so. We have a wonderful experience with the breakfast service and a mediocre with the evening service. The hotel is located in a very nice area. Unfortunately the access to the lake is not the best. But this hotel is the perfect spot to start some day trips. One can clearly see that this hotel is not state of the art anymore. "The service was great. The manager at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains. It was short walk to downtown Mittenwald where there was great restaurants and shopping. "

"They had great customer service and Maria at the restaurant was amazing. Also, they noticed it was my husband’s birthday and left him a nice birthday card with a Prosecco bottle. They do not have elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage’s upstairs. Parking was a bit hard to find since we arrived late at night when everything was closed. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"it's a very quaint antique like hotel, every piece of furniture has history. the room is comfortable and has wonderful view look out to the nearby garden. the cow bells sound in the morning is very soothing. it really brings me back to 1900s. the breakfast is delicious. it's a wonderful experience to stay here comparing to a more modern hotel that doesn't have much characters. "

It’s tight on the actual property but there is parking nearby about .5 miles (10 min walk) free 6p to 9am. You can also ask to rent the car port for 5/ night which I think is good at least for your first and last night if you have a lot of luggage , otherwise parking nearby not an issue if their lot...

"Very cosy alpine ski hotel. We had superior room It was very spacious and we had lovely view of the starry night sky from our balcony. The staff were really friendly but a few couldn’t speak to us as we don’t know German. So we did get ignored for breakfast order the final two mornings. Other than than breakfast was great! One other issue is no tea/coffee facilities in room so ended up being charged for tea every evening. "
