"This stay is on a floating island in Lake titicaca. As an experience it is amazing. However, be prepared that they only accept cash, the rooms are not heated, our stay on October 3rd 2024 was extremely cold. Nestor is a pleasant host, and gave us a tour of Uros island on our way back to shore. Note that the showers have limited access to hot water, and the toilet is a dry toilet, also there is no WiFi and limited cellular signal. "Staying on the Uros islands is highly recommended. The rate includes amazing breakfast and Dinners cooked for you. As well as boat transportation from Puno to the hotel. The staff arranged a tour for us to Taquile island and the rest of the parts of Uros islands. The cultural experience is amazing. The staff were so nice and attended to our every need. You won't get a chance ti stay on a floating island made of reeds anywhere else so we highly advise you to try it!"

"What an incredible place and location. Ronaldo and his wife were amazing hosts, My arrival time changed and he had no problem picking me up at the dock very late at 10 pm. accommodation was very cosy with an incredible view of the lake. I was worried about the room being cold but the bed had so many fantastic, comforters and blankets on it I was warm all night and had a fantastic sleep. "風呂付きの部屋を予約しましたが、風呂場は立派なのに湯どころか水も出ませんでした。到着が20時近くとても寒かったので結果的に風呂はいらなかったですが、掲載している限りはやはり使える風呂であってほしいです。でも翌朝、浮島の生活を見ると設備に期待してはいけないとわかりました。私たちはプーノ駅に18時過ぎに到着し、翌日の昼にはフリアカ空港出発というプランで時間は少なかったですが、送迎や短時間での近隣の観光のアレンジについては抜群でした。ワッツアップの返信も速いし、ご主人の英語や客の需要を理解する力もすばらしかったです。"

"We stayed here during our visit to Lake Titicaca. Marka Lodge was one of the most exotic hotels we stayed. The signature rooms have views from all the rooms including bathroom, bedrooms and the lounge. spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Breakfast and dinner was included and the owners ( Valerie & Jose) prepared Aymara /Peruvian delicacies. We absolutely loved it!!"
