"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day.
There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. "Beautiful views of Leaning Tower. 5 minute walk to the church and tower. Very festive street but not crazy bars. Great dining and views from the roof and street. Very clean. The host who checked us in was absolutely fantastic. Only had reserved for a night but had we known we would have booked longer. My only criticism is the halls were very dark. Anyone staying here would not be dissatisfied. "
"There wereno pla es to oark and I have a disability. No one to help with luggage. Had to park 2 blocks away.The room ,decor, and paint in the room looked like original . No shampoo or soap in the BR. After I got my luggage to the first floor which would be our 2nd they locked off the lift to the first floor. My room had a small veranda but the door was looked and not accessible probably because broken window out there. The air conditioning was wonderful. I moved to a new place the next day."
"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel; the staff is very friendly and attentive, in particular the young lad at the reception (sadly forgot his name). The hotel is not in the quiet area but is easily accessible from the centre of Pisa. We would definitely come back to this place. Thank you. "
