"Property is stunning and the on site thermal pool was great! Also dark enough that we got to see northern lights. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Right in the Golden circle area so very convenient for seeing the major sites in this part of Iceland. Only complaint is that breakfast for roughly $40pp looked very basic for the price- just some pre prepared eggs so we decided to skip it"

"Cozy wooden cabins in a nice location and a delicious breakfast. One thing to note is that cabins are joined in a longer house and are thus not soundproof - we could hear our fellow travelers talking, snoring, using the bathroom etc. The farm is now building another series of such cabins - perhaps they can take note of this issue especially for bathrooms - not nice to have to listen to your neighbor urinating when you are enjoying a glass of prosecco after relaxing in a nearby spa (Fontana)"

"Awful experience. The property management did not show up to meet at the designated time. The heat and water were not working. The rooms were dirty, dead insects all over the room, no electricity and the toilet would not flush due to the water being cut off. Some of the rooms that were left open (keys in the door) smelled like a dead animal. Terrible experience, I had to leave after waiting several hours for management to show up at the facility. "We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked with coffee, teas, cleaning products, washing tablets, fabric softener and plenty of towels. The beds are extremely comfortable with lots of fluffy blankets and cushions and we all slept well. The large windows frame the scenery and the log burner was a great touch. Only a few minor negatives- we only used the hot tub once, not sure how clean the water was...

"This guesthouse is very good for the area and type of accommodation. Very friendly and quiet. No hassle Or waste of time to check in or out. Dinner was amazing and above average in Iceland (balance quality-price was quite good). Breakfast very good (by far very close or even better that most 4*hotels that I have ever been).
